How to Install a Sitemap or robot.txt file for SEO
This tutorial covers how to use our sitemap Add On and how to upload a custom sitemap or robot.txt file for SEO
Install a Sitemap with the Sitemap AddOn:
Step 1
After you login to Admin, Click on the AddOns Tab in the Black Navigation Bar.
Step 2
Click on Available AddOns
Step 3
Find the Add on Called Sitemap and
Step 4
Click Activate
Now your site has a sitemap. If you are using Google Console's URL Inspection Tool, you can simply plug in your domain name followed by the "slug" /sitemap like this:
YOURDOMAINNAME.com/sitemap
Install a sitemap.xml or robot.txt file Manually
Step 1
If you have a sitemap.xml or robot.txt file provided to you by your SEO company or another SEO service, you can simply Click on the Files Tab after you login to Admin
Step 2
Click the Files Folder
Step 3
Click the Upload button and upload your sitemap file from your computer
