How to Add a File to a Page

Step 1
Click the FILES tab located at the top navigation menu

Step 2
Scroll to the bottom folder labeled Files and select that folder (or create a new folder under FILES if you wish). This is where you can upload and files like PDFs, Doc, Excel, or MP3 files.

Step 3
Under the file uploader at the bottom section of the page click upload the file. This will prompt you to select the file from your computer. Next click "upload file". You will now see your file in the right-hand screen.

Step 4
Now we can add these to a page on your site. Click the CONTENT tab at the top. Select the pencil to the right of the page you want to edit from the left-hand page tree. Once you are in your page double-click into the text module/text block you want to add the file to. 

Step 5
Click the Site Map from the right-hand menu. Select Files. From here you can drag-drop your recently uploaded file over Continue to Step 8 -OR- right click with your mouse and copy the page URL. 

Step 6
*If you chose to right click and copy the URL continue with these instructions.
Highlight the word or phrase in the text block/module -OR- click on top of the image until it is highlighted. Click the "insert/edit link" symbol from the top tool bar. Looks like a sideways chain symbol.

Step 7

  • Paste the URL link into the field "link URL".
  • Select "Target" to be "open in the same window" if the destination page is part of your site/Select "open in a new window" if the destination page is not part of your site. 
  • Type a "Title" if you want. Not required. 

Click the "INSERT" button

Step 8

Select "Save & Publish" from the right hand tool bar. View your live site to check the link.
